Encouraged by Coach Bob Jacabacci, this SYSO League 2 Boys team has decided to play it safe and wear the ForceField FFTM Headband as part of their soccer unifom. Coach Bob knows first hand the risks of heading in the game of soccer. His daughter, Anna, suffered a severe concussion on the soccer field during a high school soccer game when attempting to head the ball and contacting an opponent’s head. As a result, Anna has been unable to return to school full time, and she continues to suffer from headaches.
The ForceField FFTM Headband is a lightweight sports protective headband that looks and feels like a normal headband, but reduces impacts to the head and brain by as much as 80%. This headband reduces injury while also being ventilated and elastic so it can fit on boys, girls, adults, and children.
When children first learn soccer skills, in youth soccer organizations, injuries such as concussions are easily obtained from incorrectly heading the ball or attempting to head the ball and contacting another player. This headband will absorb much of that force and possibly prevent brain injuries.
